Innovative research project of students of Godavari Engineering College
Jalgaon - Godavari Foundation, which has taken a significant step in the electrical sector by successfully developing a very innovative and social project in the final year of electrical engineering at Godavari Engineering College, Jalgaon.
Project Affairs: The power factor in the electrical system is an important measurement of energy efficiency. Low power factor causes problems such as waste, loss of equipment and unnecessary increase in electricity bills. As a solution to this problem, students have developed a smart and automatic system using IOT (Internet of Things) technology.
The power factor is constantly measured and the capacitor bank is automatically executed as needed. Remote monitoring is also possible by sending throughout the data cloud. Utility for industries and society: This system is not only limited to industrial sector but also for commercial and home use. This promotes energy savings, reduction in electricity bills, longevity of equipment and environmentally friendly system. Apart from this, the smart grid and smart city concept can also be more capable. Appreciation of students and future opportunities: Due to this project, students in the university and industrial areas.
