Godavari College of Engineering and Polytechnic (MSBTE Code 1634), Jalgaon organized a special lecture in memory of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. On 11th February 2016 at 12:45 PM Dr. A. P. J. The program was held in Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall in a very enthusiastic atmosphere.
The theme of this memorial lecture was “Integrative Humanism: Towards Enlightenment”. Prof. Umesh Sonawane was present as the keynote speaker for the program. Through his eloquent and thought-provoking speech, Pt. The struggle journey of Deendayal Upadhyay's life, the strength of his nationalistic stance and his socio-oriented philosophy were discussed in depth.
• He emphasized the importance of harmony and balance between individual, society and nation while formulating integral humanism.
• While explaining Antyodaya's message, he appealed to every youth to accept the responsibility of reaching the last element of the society.
• He mentioned that the role of youth is very important in building moral values, social equality and self-reliant India.
During the program Pt. An inspirational film based on the life of Deendayal Upadhyay was screened. This tapestry gave the students a deeper understanding of their ideology and inspired patriotism, social commitment and duty.
On this occasion, a speech competition was also organized for the students. Students gave spontaneous response to Pt. Delivered impressive speeches on the life and work of Deendayal Upadhyay.

The winners were awarded with prizes.
